Recipe | Pink Squirrel In His Fuzzy Space Suit

This Cocktail goes way back to times, in which only The Maker from time to time dreamt of a little empire that would sell his moonshine all over the world (not there yet, but quite close). It was in times, when The Maker, The Planner and The Marketer first came together and were looking for something to happen in the outer skirts of the deepest Black Forest around the real Badger Mountain.

That night after one or two, boring named cocktails they were thinking about what they would call a bar, and turned out, they thought the “Pink Squirrel” would be the name of choice. So many moons and the establishing of his own moonshine destillery later, we finally have the best and most exciting cocktail of all: The Pink Squirrel in his fuzzy Spacesuit. Cheers!

Ingredients:

150ml freshly sueezed grapefruit juice
150ml fresh strawberry juice (see recipe below)
60ml ROCKET FUEL moonshine
Pink Himalayan Salt
Crushed Ice
Strawberry for Garnish (alternatively pink flowers)

Directions:

Rim the edge of a low ball glass with salt. Fill the glass with crushed ice, taking care to keep the salted rim in tact. In a cocktail shaker with some ice, pour in the juices and moonshine. Shake shake shake. Pour into the glass and garnish with a strawberry.

Recipe for fresh strawberry juice:

2 cups ripe strawberries (about 18-20)
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juce
2 tablespoons sugar
2 cups cold water

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Strain juice through a mesh strainer.
